When you visit the Flare Software website, small pieces of information called cookies may be placed on the device you're using. This page explains what we use and why, as required by UK legislation (PECR and the UK GDPR).
Cookies we use
CMSSESSID — an essential session cookie set by our content management system. It's required for the site to operate, contains no personal information beyond a random identifier, and is deleted when you close your browser. Because it's strictly necessary, it doesn't require consent.
That's it. We currently use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever introduce analytics, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Third-party requests
Our pages load the Montserrat typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. This doesn't set a cookie, but Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
Managing cookies
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or delete existing ones — allaboutcookies.org explains how for every major browser. Blocking the essential cookie may affect how the site behaves.
